01

Tactical combat

Three AP creates clear tradeoffs between movement, attacks, utilities, abilities, and Overwatch. Shared Advantage and free Call for Backup reward sequencing the whole squad. [3]

02

Campaign and squad identity

The Den, Operations, Tactical Missions, injuries, and locked settings give battles strategic weight. Authored and custom Operators offer composition choices, while Bonds reward partnerships. [2][3][18]

03

Scope and replay value

EA estimates 30–40 hours. Optional work, different squads, difficulty, Permadeath, Beskar, and Bonds create replay reasons, but the narrative is broadly linear rather than romance-driven. [3][6][14]

04

Who it is for

It fits players seeking story-led turn-based tactics, deliberate squad building, and Clone Wars atmosphere. It is not multiplayer, co-op, or a last-generation console release. [6]

05

Verdict

Zero Company works best when tactical choices and character systems reinforce each other. Compare its single-player scope and requirements with your priorities, and choose Standard unless the Deluxe cosmetics matter to you. [6][7][18]
