01

Create a clean baseline

Restart, update the OS and graphics driver, close overlays, confirm free storage, and compare hardware with the official target. On Intel Arc, verify Resizable BAR. [6][8][9]

02

Crashes and black screens

Verify or repair the installation, remove unsupported launch options, and test without third-party hooks. For EA app error codes, use the code-specific EA flow. [9]

03

Low FPS or stutter

Retest the same scene. Start with TSR, DLSS, or FSR, then lower one demanding option at a time. Because EA calls the game CPU-bound, a GPU-only change may not solve every limit. [8][9]

04

Missing cosmetics

Check unlock timing before reinstalling: Hawks cosmetics appear in the creator, weapon themes after the tutorial, and eligible Astromech content follows a Cycle 5 sequence. [10]

05

Escalate with evidence

Record platform, hardware, driver, storefront, error text, and reproduction steps before contacting EA support. [8][9]
