All standard Specializations
EA’s official guide lists eight standard paths. [4]
| Specialization | Role emphasis |
|---|---|
| Assault | Close pressure and movement |
| Gunslinger | Flexible pistol offense |
| Heavy | Sustained area pressure |
| Medic | Recovery and support |
| Scoundrel | Disruption |
| Scout | Mobility and reconnaissance |
| Sharpshooter | Long-range precision |
| Soldier | General-purpose combat |
02
What the role provides
Each Specialization includes one Ultimate, one Standard ability, and at least two passives. Weapons, Talents, utilities, and teammates determine how the role actually plays. [3][4]
03
Who can change
Hawks and custom Operators can change Specialization. Authored Operators have assigned Talents and may use fixed or unique paths. [4][19]
04
How to choose
Pick the missing job: recovery, control, close pressure, mid-range reliability, or long-range finishing. A class is only best when it completes the team. [4]
